Healthy Snack Options for Trips and Travel - Arbonne 30 Days

Writer's picture: Jennifer NisbettJennifer Nisbett

As someone who travels frequently for work - I know how hard it can be to stick to making good food decision on the road. Between long days, unpredictable food options, no fridge or limited options in hotel rooms there are SO many things to think about. One thing I love about Arbonne and the 30 days is it is amazing for busy people that need something simple and easy to grab and go!!

Eating healthy on the road is possible and for me its always worth the prep and little steps to set myself up for success!! I wanted to share some of my favorite tips for keeping on track while i am traveling!

Staples when I travel...

- Arbonne Protein Shake - a MUST.. I keep it dry in a shaker bottle and if I am in the pinch I can just add cold water... I know right.. a protein that tastes good with just water?! MAGIC.

- Rice Cakes - these are the PERFECT vehicle for sweet and salty snacks!

- Apples

- Individual packets of almond butter - these are amazing! You can throw them in your bag easily, and add it onto an apple or rice cakes on the go

- almonds - perfect for grabbing a handful on the go

- avocados

- oatmeal

- Arbonne Iced Lemon Bars + Strawberry White Chocolate Bars

- FIZZ STICKS - LIFE SAVERS

When I am not on a 30 days some other things I have on hand -

- dried fruit (watch added sugar)

- cuties (LOVE these)

- beef jerky - there are SO many good brands now - try to avoid soy, and look for antibotic, free range options

COMBOS I LOVE...

With no fridge or microwave required:

- Rice cake + avocado + cherry tomatoes + salt + pepper

- Rice cake + almond butter + strawberries

- Avocado + cherry tomatoes + Salt + pepper

If you have the option for a small cooler or fridge

- hummus + carrots + celery

- salsa + siete chips

- coconut milk for shakes

If you have a microwave

- oatmeal

- brown rice (trader joes has some in bags that you can microwave = I remove from the plastic to microwave

When I am traveling I bring all my Arbonne supplements - I love that most are individually packaged so what I usually grab

- Arbonne Protein

- 1 Gut health per day

- Container of Superfood Greens

- I either bring the entire bag of protein or I will portion some out into a Ziplock bag

- way more fizz sticks than I think I need because there is nothing worse than running out!

- 1 Clean-tox tea bag per day

Things to remember -

- grab some plastic knives, spoon and forks...nothing worse than having an avocado you can't cut or oatmeal without a spoon!

- if you have room bring your ninja or other small personal blender - this makes all the difference in the morning for a shake!

- Some hotels have mini fridges available if you ask

Send me your favorite travel tips!!

Jenn
